Performance Science Intern

This entry level role within Human and Player Performance will allow you to learn about and contribute to the work of our performance science team. This work is critical to better understanding and optimizing the physical needs and well-being of our staff and athletes. Working with a multidisciplinary staff, you will help facilitate an evidence-based approach to human and player performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Performance Science program through analysis and presentation of performance data
Collaborate closely with Performance Science staff regarding research design and strategy
Develop impactful reports, presentations, and ongoing results related to Performance Science initiatives
Assist with managing systems that support evidence-based decision making in player development
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree or pursuing degree in Sport/Performance Science or related area
Demonstrated skills with data analytics software (e.g. Excel, R, Python, SQL, etc.)
Understanding of basic research and statistical methods
Prior sport experience (working within or playing) is desirable
Proven respect for confidentiality
Strong communication and time management skills
Legal status to work in the United States
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
This is a paid, part-time, fully remote, entry level position beginning in June and reporting to the Performance Scientist. Work schedule may include working on short notice as well as work on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work hours will total no more than 29 hours per week.
