What is a trek?
Treks are opportunities for Pepperdine undergraduate and graduate Seaver students to engage in career exploration by visiting leading companies nationwide. Treks typically include visits to 4-5 organizations. You will receive insight into what it looks like to work at various companies in Washington D.C., learn how to pursue internship/job opportunities, and better understand the city's culture. The site visit agenda will vary by company but may include a tour, company overview, panel and Q&A session with various alumni and their colleagues, and/or a hosted meal.

- Briefly, describe why you want to participate in the Washington D.C. Career Trek as well as what you hope to gain from the experience.
- As of today, what are your career interests? What types of internships and/or jobs have you considered?
Students will be responsible for transportation to Washington D.C. The Seaver Career Center will provide some transportation to company tours.
Limited need-based scholarships are currently available on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to submit your application at your earliest convenience to ensure consideration for the scholarship opportunity.
