Events Intern
Ithaka is a private community for young people pursuing unconventional careers around mental health. The group includes Thiel Fellows, Y Combinator alumni, Forbes 30u30 members, pro and collegiate athletes, musicians, filmmakers, actors/actresses, chefs, authors and more.
We’re looking for an events intern to help plan and execute our events.
Responsibilities:
- Ideate around events
- Identify potential venues
- Facilitating potential partnerships with brands
- Outreach to potential sponsors
- Assist with guest speaker outreach
- Identifying new potential opportunities
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in a career in community building and/or event planning
- Passion for mental health and/or community
- Ability to thrive in a remote, often unstructured and fast paced environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Manages time effectively and efficiently
The ideal candidate can start ASAP. We are fully remote and offer a flexible schedule.
