Business Growth + Development Internship

SPRING 2023 GROWTH + DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP

G7 Entertainment Marketing is seeking an intern to support the agency's Growth + Development team. The G+D team helps cultivate new business opportunities and enhance existing programs for the agency. Strong research, communication, and work-management skills will be essential for this role. Top candidates will also possess a growth mindset, a willingness to ask questions, and reasonable confidence in preparation of marketing materials. Learning will be hands-on in a fun, but fast-paced, collaborative environment. Proficiency with G-suite and commonly used web browsing and social media platforms is extremely helpful.

Dates are flexible, but minimum duration is 12 weeks, with a minimum of 20 working hours per week. Work environment is preferably hybrid from our Nashville HQ, but we are open to virtual for the right candidate.

Intern duties and responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
  • Research, collect, and organize information for new and existing business relating to markets, events and festivals, venues, music and artists, sports, fan-engagement platforms, industry trends, etc. Be able to speak to research output.
  • Attend meetings and take diligent notes with the ability to summarize and recap discussion
  • Steward research efforts to help identify strategic partners and potential new clients
  • Observe and participate in brainstorming sessions covering new business ideation, innovation of services and experiences; help develop thought-starters and solutions to client opportunities
  • Attend regular status calls and participate in occasional client meetings
  • Attend regular touch-base meetings with supervisor and key teammates
  • Other activities as needed to develop the student’s understanding of the entertainment, events, and marketing industries.
  • Adhere to G7/Project policies, including attendance, dress code, and general business conduct.
