Talent Management & Casting Intern - Summer 2022

Humanity Media & Entertainment Group is a corporation that provides media and entertainment production and management services, such as development, production, talent management, casting, etc. We are dedicated to speaking for the minorities, telling every story with humanity, breaking the language and cultural barriers and bringing fun back to entertainment.

We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic filmmaker wannabes, who are hard-working, willing to compromise and sacrifice, and self-motivated, to join our company. The Summer 2022 Internship will be fully working remotely, starting on May 31 until September 2, and every intern must be able to commit 2-3 full days (10 am - 6 pm) per week. All interns must attend the orientation on May 21, from 1 pm to 6 pm. Failed to attend the orientation will lose the internship.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
  • Assisting with a variety of daily administrative office tasks, such as developing and maintaining databases, distribution lists, mailing lists and filing systems;
  • Assisting the managers with tasks throughout the day and organizing files, contracts and legal documentation, and all scheduling and calendar;
  • Submitting clients electronically and searching for audition opportunities;
  • Sending audition notice to clients and updating the schedule;
  • Interacting with casting and production offices, agents, and clients;
  • Assisting the social media team in managing the company's social media channels;
  • Collaborating and contributing to talent outreach meetings, memos, and events.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a Film/TV/Entertainment major or have related work experience in the Film/TV industry;
  • Must have knowledge about film/ TV shows and genres and an overall interest in learning about the entertainment industry;
  • Must be extremely passionate and curious about the entertainment industry;
  • Must be able to follow instructions and have a nothing-is-too-small attitude;
  • Must be a self-starter who’s proactive and expressive and not afraid of sharing his/ her opinions and knows how to work independently, as well as within the team;
  • Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks;
  • Outstanding communication skills;
  • Ability to anticipate needs and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with demonstrating accuracy in the execution of assigned tasks;
  • Ability to grow and forge new relationships;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
