Development Coordinator for Foundations Relations
We seek a Development Coordinator for Foundation Relations to support the Senior Director of Foundation Relations (SDFR) and Woodwell’s Office of Development by performing a variety of philanthropic related tasks. This position reports to the SDFR.
Foundation Relations (70%)
· Support the SDFR and other Philanthropic frontline fundraisers with researching foundations and individuals for various projects and initiatives at Woodwell, across all program areas and other intuitional priority areas
· Based on research and knowledge of projects, qualify foundations and working with the SDFR assist with developing a strategy for each
· Support the SDFR with drafting emails to introduce projects to foundations
· Help prepare LOIs and concepts to foundations as requested
· Enter foundation information into RE, such as but not limited to: creating new records; entering proposals submitted and updating status; entering communication with foundations
· Updating pending/submitted/declined proposal list on Intranet
· Record grant reporting schedules and send reminders to Woodwell’s Scientists
· Track interim and final reports that need to be submitted; following up to insure they were sent.
· Schedule, support and record notes for meetings with PIs and teams for proposal development and activity tracking
General Development administrative support (30%)
· Maintain Organizational Files under Arcadia: Philanthropic Office Documents/Administration and provide copies to team as requested for:
o Banking and Wire Instructions
o Woodwell Brand Standards (templates & letter heads)
o Accounting Forms (PO and Check Requests)
· Update Constant Contact (add subscribers)
· Track Event Attendees:
o create mailing lists
o monitor RSVPs
o add attendees to Raisers Edge
o add to newsletter list in Constant Contact
· Assist with preparation and implementation for donor events
· Help coordinate on-site community events and selected off-site cultivation events
Qualifications and Experience:
· College Degree
· 1+ years' experience working in fundraising or project organization (internship experience is applicable)
· Ability to prioritize and manage several projects efficiently
· Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating cross-functionally, with donors, vendors, and team members
· Strong organizational and administrative skills
· Ability to handle large data sets with accuracy
· Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office, Raisers Edge, and Constant Contact
· Excellent attention to detail, conscientious work ethic
· Excellent ability to multi-task, prioritize projects, and work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
· Positive and proactive demeanor
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
· A desire to understand how administrative projects connect to broader philanthropic goals and strategy

Classification and Compensation: This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position. The salary range is $45,000 to $50,000. Woodwell offers a very generous benefits package.
Location: Falmouth, Massachusetts, hybrid remote in office and work from home possible.
