Job Description
We’re looking for an Account Manager to help us scale our company to the next level. As we onboard more companies and begin to fill a wider array of positions, we need an organized individual with strong multitasking abilities who can keep up with our fast-paced workstyle and keep all of our accounts satisfied with our product. The role will focus primarily on managing all account relationships, including onboarding and account check-ins, delivery of candidate dashboards, and ensuring account success.
As part of the role, you will work closely with three other teams – Marketing, Community & Learning, and Technology – to help improve the account experience and increase hiring outcomes across key areas.
  1. Marketing: Provide key candidate profiles across accounts in advance of recruiting drives to ensure effective sourcing of new candidates and increase target candidate pools to present to accounts.
  2. Community & Learning: Share key candidate profiles for each account to ensure targeted campaign efforts to drive candidate opt ins as well as share interview information by account to ensure candidates receive tailored interview prep resources to increase the probability of hiring success.
  3. Tech: Identify ways to improve the account user experience and provide interview results to help better calibrate our AI and matching algorithms.
The Account Manager will be given considerable autonomy under direct supervision of the CEO and will have both logistical and strategic responsibilities within a quickly growing startup. There is the possibility of promotion to an Account Director within 1-2 years which would increase your responsibility and interaction with senior client officials.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain regular contact with all clients and work with them to develop their MG recruiting plan and complete onboarding documents (i.e., defining goals/timing, establishing candidate profiles).
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with account POCs by being a sounding board and first point of contact to work across their recruiting goals/issues whether part of the MG scope or not.
  • Communicate account goals with various internal teams to ensure everyone is aligned on what is needed for effective candidate sourcing and a successful opt-in campaign.
  • Generate candidate dashboards for all clients, identifying key candidates to present based on each company’s ideal candidate profile, and coordinate with the tech team on how to use various data points to rank the candidates appearing on the dashboards.
  • Work with Community & Learning team to ensure tailored training programs for candidates where needed, including Accelerators, interview prep programs, and live mock interviews.
  • Conduct regular data analytics to identify and flag any potential issues for clients.
  • Conduct regular check-ins post each recruiting wave and end of year reviews to debrief with client and understand what went well and what can be improved.
  • Identify ways to upsell clients into add-on services or features.
  • Use client selection data and interview results to help calibrate and refine our AI and ensure the right students are matched with the right opportunities for them.
  • Work with our CEO and CTO to improve the account user experience, streamline operations, and increase client traction.
Qualifications
  • 0-2 years work experience in client success, account management, and/or sales roles, preferably with some exposure to banking or management consulting.
  • Startup experience preferred, but not required.
  • Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and multitask across a wide range of daily responsibilities.
  • Confident written and verbal communication. You must be able to quickly build trust with both students, industry professionals, and company representatives.
  • Willingness to participate in high-level strategic planning while also executing on day-to-day initiatives.
  • Eagerness to democratize campus recruiting, removing barriers-to-entry for students of diverse backgrounds. You should be excited about the possibility of empowering thousands of college students with the skills and confidence they need to land their dream jobs.
Compensation
This is a full-time, entry-level role with competitive pay commensurate with experience. While the majority of the team is based in New York, we are a remote company, and you can work from anywhere.
