INTERN EXPERIENCE AT UNITED WAY WORLDWIDE
Interns at United Way Worldwide gain valuable learning and working experience at a leading nonprofit organization. Our goal is to make every intern who works with us feel included, valuable, and productive. In addition to the hands-on experience you’ll receive working at the largest nonprofit in the world, you will be provided with weekly professional development workshops.

LOCATION: This internship takes place 100% remote.

TIME FRAME: Spring 2022 - January 24 to April 15

PAY: $15/hour

POSITION SUMMARY
The donor advised fund product intern will support the donor advised team with product strategy and growth. United Way Worldwide has facilitated an international donor advised fund (DAF) product for over 20 years, and recently expanded into the domestic space. As this is a new revenue stream and line of work for UWW, we are seeking an intern that can support our overall strategy development and marketing and network outreach to help grow the product, drive revenue and increase donor engagement.

PRIMARY PROJECTS 
  • Conduct competitor analysis on donor advised giving products to better understand target customer for each product
  • Identify additional marketing material to support new donor onboarding to products
  • Conduct research to identify audiences and pipeline for donor advised giving products
  • Support engagement of the United Way network in donor advised giving products through.
  • Creation of overview material
  • Updating of network wide communication channels with overview material
  • Support in facilitating network learning webinars

REQUIRED SKILLS 
  • Strong interest in learning more about nonprofit work and working with people
  • Strong planning, research, and writing skills
  • Experience with conducting competitive analysis is helpful, as well as PowerPoint presentations skills and strong organization skills to support network outreach efforts.
