Principal, Senior Recruiter

The Principal, Senior Recruiter will be a key member of the Intersection team. Reporting to the firm’s Partners, you will have broad responsibilities and market exposure:

  • Deliver first-rate executive recruiting execution with ownership of the process from search initiation through completion: 1) develop search strategies, 2) conduct desktop research and source in the market, 3) engage, interview and assess world-class candidates with an eye towards candidate experience, 4) advise on compensation, complete references and close candidates
  • Support the firm’s Partners in business development activities, as needed; attend new business meetings as a participating, valued member of the team; develop relationships that will allow you to evolve into a producer over time
  • Build intellectual capital; support the generation of engaging original content for thought-pieces and newsletters
  • Develop a strong, trusted network among senior executives in fintech and attain a differentiated knowledge base; become an expert in emerging products, important trends and leaders in the space

  • Smart and intellectually curious, with an enthusiasm for fintech
  • Polished and articulate - - without being overly corporate
  • A utility player with an unflappable personal style; we are a startup and you should be unafraid to get involved with all aspects of the business (e.g. hiring, events, social media etc) as needed
  • Good humored and fun


  • 7+ years of work experience with recruiting experience either in-house or within an executive search firm; financial services experience will be advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

This is a full-time position. While the founding team is based in the Bay Area, we are flexible on location and anticipate remaining remote-first.
