Communications Summer Internship
This year’s internships will be 100% virtual and are now open for applications!
As a Communications intern, you will assist staff with tasks related to public affairs, writing, editing, web activities, photography, videography, and/or social media.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in research and information collection for specific writing assignments and perform other similar tasks to learn the basic methods, procedures, and techniques of the public affairs field.
- Assist in coordinating social media and web activities, updating internet sites/pages, and producing communication products (videos, articles, newsletters), as needed.
- Assist in developing partner engagement plans and identifying new partners and appropriate contacts within organizations.
Eligibility:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Timeframe: May – September 2021
- Current students in an accredited college (including 4-year colleges/universities, community colleges, and junior colleges); professional, technical, vocational, and trade school; advanced degree programs; or other qualifying educational institution pursuing a qualifying degree or certificate.
