Our brand delivers news on Chinese entertainment, language, and modern cultural phenomenon to a global audience. Our global, cross-platform network includes our site, YouTube channel and Instagram account, as well as other digital platforms. Our news and entertainment serve the post 90s and 00s generation- an engaged, global audience that connects with culture and entertainment through digital platforms.
About the position:
As part of the Chinosity staff, you are responsible for editing video content for Chinosity, including weekly podcasts, interviews, and short video stories. This position is currently a part-time remote position. You are required to work closely with our marketing team and content team through weekly meetings, office communication tools and other means.
What you will do:
- Edit our podcast series China on the Internet
- Edit video series China on the Internet and Black x Gold
- Work with marketing team and content team to develop new creative videos
- Attend weekly staff meeting online
The ideal candidate:
- Must has basic knowledge about at least one video editing tool (i.e Adobe Premiere)
- Has ability to self-manage multiple projects at once and deliver them on time
- Has excellent communication skills
- Has a curious mind and love to try different video genres
*Candidate with experience and a comprehensive work portfolio is a plus
*Candidate who has knowledge of Mandarin/ Chinese and Chinese media is a plus
