Education Media Intern (Video Editing) Fall/Winter
The HSS Education Institute’s video editing internship is designed to give college students the opportunity to gain practical experience in the post-production processes by assisting staff in the editing of patient education videos and surgical video content for the HSS online professional education platform. Other content in production: interviews, cadaver lab sessions, clinical training videos.
Position Title: Education Media Intern
Position Description: Editing SURGICAL video content
Student will report to the Video Production Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Assist editing footage captured at HSS by eAcademy production team
· Research, organize, and maintain Orthopedic Video YouTube page, video platform, website needs and organization.
· Willing to learn and work with a team, take direction from editor
· Assist with production equipment set-up and breaking down when needed
Schedule: Part time, flexible schedule, hours to be determined. Minimum 5-6 month commitment.
Requirements: Good communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro/ or Final Cut, Microsoft Word. A college student who has completed their sophomore year and is interested in video editing, videography, photography. Interest in medical field is a plus. Must be a hands on and solution driven person. Carry gear up to 25 lbs. (cart provided) Good time management skills!
