Early Intern Application Deadline is March 4, 2020
Final Intern Application Deadline: April 6, 2020
Job Scope:
Work on the messaging gateway service or calendar presence service, implement features such as queuing, move service to Kubernetes and continuous integration and deployment using a spinnaker.
Qualifications:
● Junior year CS major in a BS/MS
● Ability to code in Java
● Experience using REST APIs
● Familiar with Kubernetes, continuous integration and continuous deployment
● Some familiarity with public cloud (AWS preferred)
Learning Skills/Outcomes:
● Functionally understand a messaging gateway or a presence server
● Ability to deploy to Kubernetes
● Ability to build a continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline
Availability:
● Full-time, throughout the summer of 2020 [10-week internship]
● Must be available to start either June 9th or June 16th
