Development and Production Intern

• ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE SEEKING SCHOOL CREDIT

• Ideal candidates should be available 3-5 consecutive days per week

• Must be detail oriented, hardworking, motivated, and have a positive attitude

• Must be able to work independently and have great listening/communication skills

• Need to be able to use tape measure 

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) a must

• Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and RLM is not required but a plus

• Basic hand sewing, pattern making not required but a plus

• Preparing samples for fittings. i.e. printing out tech packs, steaming samples, making sure all fitting tools (camera, fit box, muslin, yard stick, heels) are ready 

• Taking photos i.e. technical details in fitting or flat samples and collection details.

• Various errands to midtown vendors

• Sending packages to international factories using FedEx online site

• Assist trim buyer with developing PPS and production trim packs for domestic and international production

• Cross checking packages against POs i.e. zippers, buttons

• Assist production team with data entry when needed (both for Excel and PLM)

• Update delivery boards for Production Manager

• Support the team with continued organization of Production space
