2020 Canon Insights Summer Internship - Corporate/Strategic Planning (Change Management)

Overview
Canon, U. S. A., Inc. is currently hiring for our 2020 Canon Insights Intern Program.

The Insights Program is a comprehensive program that runs for 10 weeks from 6/1/2020-8/7/2020. This is a full-time (9 AM to 5 PM), 35 hours a week, paid internship. This program is designed to provide students an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects and exposure to various business units within Canon.

Responsibilities

- Conduct business development research
- Work on strategic communications that increase understanding, support and achievement of the Canon Americas strategy• Drive increasing employee engagement with the Canon Americas strategy by working on a robust portfolio of executive communication that increase trust, pride, and teamwork within the organization.
- Work on leadership meetings and strategic speaking opportunities to internal audiences that promote and drive strategic priorities • Assist with oversight of Strategic Change Management’s presence on the Intranet, ensuring this portal optimizes strategic communications and employee engagement.

Qualifications

We prefer students that are entering their Junior or Senior year as of the Summer 2020, however, all are welcome to apply. To succeed in the Insights Program, you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Power point, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We also require candidates to be enrolled in a related major in the department of interest and have some former work or internship experience.
