Spring Internships - Field Forward

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum offers a wide variety of internships for college students seeking real-world learning experiences as part of their undergraduate or graduate studies. With annual visitorship of over 1.2 million, the Museum is one of the most visited history museums in the country. Interns experience a fast-paced, hands-on environment where they learn alongside Museum professionals. Available internships include opportunities in archival preservation, creative, event management, public relations, marketing, development, fundraising, museum education, and public programs within the Museum and the historic properties it operates, including Hatch Show Print and Historic RCA Studio B.
The Museum hosts up to 70 interns per year through internships that advance college students’ educational goals and the Museum’s mission. Internships require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week for a minimum of 12 weeks, and are offered three times a year.

Field Forward Internship Program

Field Forward is an aspect of the internship program that seeks to increase equitable access to and participation in the Museum’s internships. Field Forward provides financial support to students in the form of stipends in three tracks. Field Forward’s goals are to engage diverse students with the Museum and the broader field; provide support to students who are unable to participate in unpaid internships; and encourage students majoring in museum-focused or museum-related fields to seek national-level experience via the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
