The City of Los Angeles City Controller's Office seeks to hire an intern to perform data analysis

and verification of the City’s fund data reported in “All City Funds” on the Controller’s website

located at:

Data validation includes performing or assisting in identifying, researching, reviewing files and

legal documents found online or other electronic sources about the use of the City’s funds. The

intern will assist Controller staff in developing and executing processes for monitoring,

maintaining, and improving the information found in its databases. The intern will also assist

Controller staff in using this information for developing investigative reports using Word, Excel,

Access and other reporting tools.

● Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access for creating reports

● Advance data visualization skills, desired but not required
