Data Analytics - Internship

The data analysis intern will assist the market data team in producing client reports and running data analysis. The intern will also have the opportunity to test their skills and add value by creating a proposal for a new periodic report, which will add to the firm’s growing base of thought capital.

·        Assist with the creation and send-out of daily pricing reports.

·        Assist data associate with the development and testing of pricing models.

·        Engage with coworkers, partners and clients to efficiently complete analytical and business development projects as they arise.

·        Develop understanding of the energy futures market, with the end goal of developing an idea for a new report to be used by the firm.

·        College juniors and sophomores pursuing a quantitative or technical degree (economics, finance, mathematics, computer science, engineering, etc.)

·        Internship experience in finance preferred. Commodities experience a plus.

·        Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and formulas like vlookups. VBA experience a plus).

·        Good time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·        Ability to take the initiative and desire to learn.
