Compliance Advisor- Intern Job

Reviews laws and regulations for business impact and completes risk assessments. Under direct supervision, performs routine work assignments and problem resolution to support other team members.


Job Description
Tasks:
Acquires and applies foundational knowledge of the business, its products, and processes.
Performs reviews of laws and regulations for business impact and completes accurate risk assessments.
Understands the origin and reasoning behind key policies, practices, and procedures.
Seeks guidance from team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for escalation.
Assists in coordinating proper implementation of business requirements and identifies outstanding compliance issues.
Completes work assignments both through formal channels and the informal network.
Initiates interactions and conversations with others.
Provides compliance input on business action plans, projects or operational requests.
May identify compliance gaps and opportunities.
May review business documents and forms to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and enterprise policy.
Ensures proper implementation of business requirements and identifies outstanding compliance issues.
Gathers information to support compliance analysis.
Administers compliance for routine regulatory requirements and reporting under direct supervision of management or mentor.
Coordinates and responds to regulatory requirements and requests.
Conducts compliance assessments through self assessment program and examinations.
May interact with regulatory agencies for less complex requests.
Minimum Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited university.
Minimum Experience:
Up to 2 years relevant work experience.
Foundational knowledge of relevant regulatory data sources.
Foundational knowledge of relevant industry regulations.
