Finance Department Team Member

Department – Finance              Reports to: CFO
Company / Location – Poms & Associates, Woodland Hills, CA
FLSA – Non-Exempt                 
Shift – Approx. 10-15 hours/week during the year, 40 hours/week possible during Summer (days & times to be determined) within regular business hours (Mon through Fri, 8:00AM to 5:00PM)
 
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting with finance, accounting, projects, and administrative work.
 
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
 
  • Help the CFO with various projects and ad hoc analyses
  •  
  • Enters invoices into the accounts payable system and assists with managing the company’s purchasing process and the company’s vendors
  •  
  • Assist management and producers with expense reports
  •  
  • Learns and serves as the back-up for the company’s payroll system
  •  
  • Serve as part of the team that fills-in for receptionist during breaks, lunch, and vacation
  •  
  • Maintain accounting records by making copies, filing documents, etc.
  •  
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE – Working toward an undergraduate degree in business, economics, math, or similar.
