Intern - Spring 2018 - Undergraduate - Fox Group Audit

Job Description

We are the Corporate Audit department for Fox Group, the largest audit group within 21CF and we report to 21CF. We perform financial, operational, IT and forensic audits worldwide for all the FOX businesses whose executive management is based in Los Angeles (Film, Fox Networks Group including Fox TV Group and HULU). We are one of very few departments that support all of these various businesses and we have the privilege to visit our operations worldwide to perform our work. The results of our work are reported to executive management at Fox Group, 21CF and directly to the Audit Committee of the Board.

Intern job duties: To assist the Internal Audit Department in completing internal audits of selected business units and processes. This will include assisting each of four audit teams as necessary to plan audits, undertake audit fieldwork testing and assist in audit finalization.

Learning objectives: We offer a unique insight into the breadth of FOX operations worldwide. Working in our group provides a great opportunity to learn and understand our business and how we go about helping those businesses to perform basic and essential business operations better. Also to gain an understanding of internal controls and business risks.

Qualifications

A strong interest in accounting and audit. Interest in media and entertainment industry is preferred.

We are looking for a candidate that can work Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (2 days per week)

To participate in Fox’s Internship program you must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
  • Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
