Digital Communications Associate
The Digital Communications Associate will play a critical role in enhancing the NSTMF’s online presence and engagement. This position is responsible for managing the organization’s communications channels, including social media, newsletters, and website content. Working closely with team members and external developers, this role will ensure that the NSTMF’s digital content aligns with the organization’s objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Communications Management
• Newsletters: Draft and distribute monthly NSTMF newsletters and any special distributions.
• Social Media: Manage the NSTMF’s social media accounts, including editorial & audience engagement initiatives.
• Analytics & Strategy: Track analytics to monitor engagement, identify trends, and suggest strategies to enhance outreach.
• Website Management: Create and update NSTMF website content. Collaborate with third-party developers to maintain and improve the website.
• Social Media Content Development: Develop and implement social media content strategies to elevate NSTMF’s visibility and engagement, including monitoring trends, comments, and messages.
• Annual and Impact Reports: Design NSTMF annual reports and impact reports and collaborate with NSTMF team members on how to best present information in reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field OR current undergraduate student pursing degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
Skills & Abilities:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with communication tools (e.g., Slack, Mailchimp), social media platforms, & database management.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Solutions-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
