Software Analyst

F3 Global is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to closing the $4.8 trillion financing gap for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) through microloans and business advisory services. We empower underserved entrepreneurs, especially those in developing economies, by providing accessible financing, financial literacy, and mentorship. Role Description
This is a remote internship position for a Software Engineer at F3 Global. The Software Engineer will support the development, improvement, and maintenance of F3 Global’s digital tools and technology systems. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with website updates, building or improving internal tools, supporting data organization systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with team members to create technology solutions that strengthen F3’s client development, outreach, and operational processes. The role aims to help F3 Global use technology more effectively to expand access to microfinance solutions and support underserved entrepreneurs.

Qualifications

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation with a results-driven mindset
  • Experience or coursework in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, or similar technologies
  • Ability to problem-solve, debug, and learn new tools or platforms independently
  • Organized and detail-oriented with consistent follow-through on assigned projects
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Interest in using technology to support social impact, entrepreneurship, and inclusive finance
  • In the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
  • Prior experience with web development, databases, APIs, automation, or nonprofit technology projects is a plus
