Marketing Intern

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our Business Development and Client Acquisition team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in B2B marketing, lead generation, account-based research, CRM management, and demand generation strategies within a fast-growing software company.

The intern will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to identify potential clients, generate qualified leads, execute targeted outreach campaigns, and support pipeline development initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in marketing, business development, or sales operations while gaining exposure to modern demand generation practices and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective clients, target companies, and key decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain lead databases using LinkedIn, company websites, and prospecting tools.
  • Generate and qualify leads based on target customer criteria.
  • Support email marketing, LinkedIn outreach, and demand generation campaigns.
  • Assist in lead nurturing and account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives.
  • Track prospect engagement and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
  • Schedule meetings and demos with qualified prospects for the Sales team.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Support webinars, events, and content marketing activities focused on lead generation.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on lead generation activities.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to improve pipeline growth and conversion rates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in B2B marketing, SaaS, lead generation, and business development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM systems, and prospecting tools is a plus.
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
